finally redownloaded the program for transferring photos to my blog!! been back frm Genting for abt a week and below are the belated pics..

Day 1
the trip down was a full 9 hrs journey with baby n me trying very hard to slp as 2 kids behind were playing and shouting the whole trip down. their parents were not helpful in stoping them and baby n i suffered the whole 9 hrs. upon reaching Genting, the only consolation we had were the cool air that greeted us.. it was ard 17 degrees there n the chill was jus wht we needed after sunny, humid Singapore. we were so tired tt we took a nap b4 waking up at 8pm for dinner..

Day 2
The day started with us waking at 530am as we slept at 9plus the night b4.. we took a bath and went down for the buffet breakfast. it wasnt exactly marvelous bt enough to fill our stomachs.. after breakkie, baby n i went for a walk outside n enjoyed the cool chill morning dew.. the day was 15 degrees.. marvelous man!! we were contemplating whether shld we go to the outdoor theme park or jus do some shopping as we didn't bring enough ringgit and silly me didn't even bring singapore money, except for a debit card.. in the end, the theme park and the shops only opened at 10am n it was only 8am after our breakfast. we decided to go to the casino and found out they didn't allowed baby to go in as he wasn't wearing a collar tshirt. all thanks to his fren who told us no need bring any collar tee.. we went back to the hotel and watch tv till 10am and went shopping... baby bought khakis and i bought a jeans, skirt and three quarter from our fav. shop-Soda.. i also bought a pair of shoes.. after shopping, (we decided to forfeit the theme park as we felt it was a waste of money) we had a sumptous dinner of ceasar salad, fried guotiao and fish and chips and went to bought movie tickets at 9.30pm. we caught the 'curse of the golden flower' and i find it quite a lame show without any storyline.. anywya we ended the day at 12am.

Day 3
we woke up at 6 plus and went for breakfast and a long stroll ard the whole Genting Highlands enjoying the view.went back to first world plaza and decided to spend all our ringgit... bought a pair of earrings and had super sumptous marvellous noodles for lunch.. went back hotel as we had to check out at 12pm and went to sit outside the theme park to enjoy the air till 2pm for our trip back...

slept all the way home(luckily, there weren't any noisy kids this time)

the few things we learnt abt Malaysia is:

Rule 1: bring enough cash, both ringgit and sing dollars
Rule 2: dun ever asssume casinos allow u to go in without collar shirt no matter wht ur fren says
Rule 3: nvr ever eat the YongPeng(halfway food house) food... horrible, oily and i n baby ended up having stomach aches TWICE.
Rule 4: buy movie tickets early.. it gets sold out reali fast!!

Christmas was spent having a mini celebration at dear's house with all his frens and there were mahjong and exchange of presents thru random numbers. i got a cute doggie soft toy while dear got an addidas bag.

New yr eve was also spent at baby's hse as his friends didn't like the crowd.. we ordered sushi and kfc and there were monopoly and mahjongs...

been playing mahjong the last few days and the most extreme one was on tuesday night. dearie, me, johnny and robert started at 9pm on wed and played non-stop for 16 hrs till thurs noon 1pm.. i n baby was super shack and slept frm 2pm on thurs noon till today morning 6am. bascially we slept for 16 hrs straight too, without any lunch or dinner...

dearie is at school now.. waiting for him to come home den going to his fren grandpa's wake and later maybe catching a movie.. i wanna watch night at the musuem!!
